Since 2003, when Team Ten LLC was formed to rescue the idled former Westvaco operation, John Ferner has provided tireless leadership and loyal stewardship to American Eagle Paper Mills in Tyrone, PA.
His reliable judgement and careful guidance during an intensely challenging period contributed greatly to American Eagle’s successful transition from a dormant, abandoned operation to its current status as the industry leader in the manufacturing of high quality paper made from recovered fiber.
ABCD Corp. recognized and honored Mr. Ferner at our Annual Meeting last month. He has been a dedicated leader and supporter of economic development in Blair County. His involvement in the success of American Eagle demonstrates the power of teamwork and leadership. We wish John Ferner a happy retirement and thank him for his dedication to our region.
